The Global Movement of Scouts and Guides

The Scouts and Guides movement is a global initiative aimed at helping young people discover their potential as active citizens, leaders, and responsible members of society. Andhra Scouts and Guides is proud to be a part of this prestigious global network.

Our History

The Scouting movement began in 1907, founded by Lord Robert Baden-Powell. The Guiding movement soon followed in 1910, led by Baden-Powell and his sister, Agnes. Together, they built a worldwide movement . Andhra Pradesh has embraced this movement with enthusiasm, bringing the spirit of scouting to thousands of young minds.

Our Activities

Members of Andhra Scouts and Guides participate in: Outdoor Adventures: Camping, hiking, and nature exploration. Skill Building: First aid, survival skills, and practical knowledge. Leadership Development: Nurturing leadership qualities and teamwork. Cultural Enrichment: Emphasizing the importance of cultural heritage and the diversity of Andhra Pradesh.

Age Groups and Programs

We offer programs tailored to various age groups: Cub Scouts (6-10 years) Scouts (10-14 years) Venture Scouts (14-18 years) Rover Scouts (18-25 years) Guides (5-18 years) Ranger Guides (14-25 years) Through these age-appropriate activities, young participants grow in confidence, develop essential skills, and form lasting friendships.
